We live in Washougal and about once every 5 or so years, stop in and try again with this place. It was 11 am on Saturday 11/18 and ordered breakfast. Place was about 1/4 occupied.

Again, I am not making any of this up, and despite my rant, this is not an attempt to sway business, but to educate prospective employees... There are quite a few wonderful people here worth noting, especially Darlene.
Omg ...talk about delicious local food..this place is amazing ... Food for everyone if u like to have a casual meal and kick back and chat it up with your friends and or family look no further..
My wife's sweet roll was microwaved so it was rubbery, the frosting disappeared and the same issue with the margarine so uneatable.
For both meals, I think they add pancake batter to the scrambled eggs to make them fluffy. Not my favorite way to have eggs.
Avoid the liver as I have personally seen that defrosted and re-frosted about a million times.
Been coming here for many years and consistently good food and good service.

I was never around for a food inspection, but my understanding is that it's terrible, and judging from the weird looking blackish hairy mold growing all over the back of the house, among other odd practices, not surprising.
This is the character of the owner, who often told me that Satan "has me", and I'm a bad father because I one time forgot my hat. I saw him push a 17y/o girl out of his way a few times too, like actually shove. These things are in no way embellished. I put this out here for those who are considering a job here. You can buy their food all you want, that is if you like $30 frozen steaks, lol.
Worked here for almost a year; one day the "christian" owner has the floors redone. They were done shoddy and I ended up slipping, breaking some bones in my hand and chipping a tooth. This is the first time I've ever broken anything at all, at 32. The owner has me in for a meeting about it and tells me he intends on finding a way out of paying towards LnI because of my accident. Two days later I get mail from him saying he "accepts my letter of resignation" that I never gave to him, but he said some other employee "found". Who, I don't know. Conveniently, the letter is dated for the day I fell. LnI, aren't buying it. and they also have found that he took away about 3-5 hours, each week, from my pay.
The hash browns were soaked in the gravy of the chicken fried steak, so I took just a few bites. Not great and likely also cooked in the stale margarine.
The butter was not butter but margarine and it was stale. So my biscuits were not consumable.
Bottom line .. Never more.
